Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, IISER, established by the Government of India (MHRD) in 2007 to carry out research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality science education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, intends to fill up the following vacancies:-

I. Registrar :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 + Grade Pay RS. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Masters degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor. Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institutions of higher education.
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit 40 years (including relaxation of age).

II. Deputy Librarian :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + AGP RS. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Must have o5 years experience as an Assistant Librarian in an University / College / IIT etc.
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit 40 years (including relaxation of age).

III. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade pay RS. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferably with First Class) and three years relevant experience preferably in the field of building electrical installations, sub station erection/power distribution in a large campus. Experience in Maintenance of Elect. Works as per CPWD/ PSEB norms will be considered additional qualification.
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit 40 years (including relaxation of age).

IV. Office Assistant (Multi- skill) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 + Grade Pay RS. 2800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree + 2 years relevant experience & knowledge of computer application.
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit 32 years (including relaxation of age).

Fees : Bank Draft for Rs.100/- as application fee in case of General/OBC candidates in favour of Registrar, IISER Mohali payable at Chandigarh. PD candidates are however, exempted from payment of application fee. Reservation for PD candidates as per Government of India rules will apply.
