National Institute of Technology Manipur, An Institute of national importance, imparting quality technical education at UG level, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following posts.

A. Faculty Members:
i. Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs 37400 to 67000 AGP : Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. with 1st class at bachelor/Master degree in appropriate disciplines. Candidates from industry / profession 1st class Masters degree in appropriate disciplines. 10 years in teaching / industry / research out of which 4 (four) years shall be at the level of Assistant Professor (old) / Associate Professor or equivalent.

ii. Associate Profesor :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs 37400 to 67000 AGP : Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. with 1st class at bachelor/Master degree in appropriate disciplines. Candidates from industry /profession 1st class Masters degree in appropriate disciplines. 05 years in teaching /industry/ research at the level of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor or equivalent.

iii. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 05 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs 15600 to 39100 AGP : Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. degree with 1st class at Bachelors / Masters degree in appropriate disciplines. Candidates who have submitted their Ph. D. thesis are also eligible.

B. Non-Faculty Members:
iv. Registrar :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs 37400 to 67000 AGP : Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Master Degree in Business Administration, Science, Commerce, or Arts or 1st class Bachelor Degree in Engineering with excellent academic record. At least 15 years experience in technical management or administrative experience in major educational.
Desirable: Degree in Management, Law and ability to supervise computerized administration with innovative approach, knowledge of Financial Management and Accounting practice.
Age Limit : Below 55 years.

v. Assistant Registrar :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs 15600 to 39100 AGP : Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A first class Masters Degree in Business Administration, Arts, Science or Commerce or a first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with excellent academic record. A Chartered or Cost Accountant Degree or Diploma is highly desirable.
Desirable: Degree in Management or ability to supervise computerized administration with innovative approach. Knowledge of Financial Management and Accounting practices. 5 years Technical management or administrative experience in major educational Institutions.
Age Limit : Below 55 years.

vi. Technical Assistant :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor Degree in Science with 1st class Honors or 1st class Diploma in Engineering in appropriate field. A good academic record is essential in all cases. The requirement of 1st class may be relaxed by 5% for candidates with Master’s Degree in Science or Bachelors Degree in engineering.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years relaxation for Govt. employees and SC/ST candidates.

vii. Superintendent/ Accountant :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st class Bachelor Degree with two years experience in Office Management. For the post of Accountant a B.Com Honors Degree is essential. Accountancy as a Special subject or a Chartered or Cost Accountant degree or diploma is desirable. Knowledge of computer / word processor is essential. Knowledge of computer based accounting system is essential.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years relaxation for Govt. employees and SC/ST candidates.

viii. Stenographer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree with minimum speed in shorthand 80 wpm and minimum typing speed of 40 wpm. Proficiency in computer word processing and advance skill is essential.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 28 years relaxation for Govt. employees and SC/ST candidates.

ix. Junior Assistant :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelors Degree with minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and proficiency in Compute word processing.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 28 years relaxation for Govt. employees and SC/ST candidates.

x. Technician :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Engineering of 3 years duration of appropriate field / B.Sc. Degree in appropriate field.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 28 years relaxation for Govt. employees and SC/ST candidates.
