Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC, Applications are invited for recruitment to the following posts in the Combined E ngineering Service Examination upto 5.45 p.m on 13.08.2010.

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) :
No of Post : 185 posts in Water Resources Organisation, PWD in the TamilNadu Engineering Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) :
No of Post : 29 posts in Building Organisation, PWD in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

3. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) :
No of Post : 14 posts in PWD in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

4. Assistant Engineer :
No of Post : 255 posts in Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department in Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

5. Assistant Engineer (Civil) :
No of Post : 171 posts in Highways Department in the Tamil Nadu Highways Engineering Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

6. Assistant Inspector of Factories :
No of Post : 06 posts in the Tamil Nadu Factories Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

7. Junior Electrical Inspector :
No of Post : 01 post in Tamil Nadu Electrical Inspectorate Service.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4700/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years as on 24.10.2010.

Mode of Selection :
1. written test on 24.10.2010 and
2. Interview for selected candidates.
