Islamic University of Science & Technology, IUST, Applications on prescribed format are invited for the following faculty positions :
1. Associate Professor :
In i) Computer Science. ii) Islamic studies. iii) Arabic
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- with AGP RS. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. in the concerned subject from recognized Institution with First Class Masters Degree. Five years of experience of teaching and/ or research as Assistant Professor or equivalent excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contributions to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula.
2, Assistant Professor :
In i) Microbiology. ii) MBA. iii) English*, iv. Mathematics / Applied Mathematics.
Scale of Pay : RS. 15600 to 39100 with AGP RS. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent GPA in the concerned subject with NET/SLET or Ph.D.
Desirable : i) Leadership skills and ability to incorporate interdisciplinary approaches. ii) Good communication skills both oral and written.
