Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society, GMERS, Applications in prescribed forms are invited from Medical/Dental Candidates of General / Reserved category for Appointment on purely temporary and Ad-hoc basis for the following vacant posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor Tutors, Sr.Resident and Jr.Resident in proposed New Medical Colleges at Sola (Ahmedabad), Gotri (Vadodara), Patan (North Guj.) and Valsad under control of GMERS.

1. Professor :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules & Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time. The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 65 years.
Scale of Pay : RS. 37400 to 67000 with grade pay RS. 8900/- per month.
Date and Time of Interview : Date: 20-3-10 (at 10-00 a. m. onwards).

2. Associate Professor :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules & Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time. The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 65 years.
Scale of Pay : RS. 15600 to 39100 with grade pay RS. 7600/- per month.
Date and Time of Interview : Date: 20-3-10 (at 10-00 a. m. onwards).

3. Assistant Professor :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules & Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time. The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 65 years.
Scale of Pay : RS. 15600 to 39100 with grade pay RS. 6600/- per month.

4. Tutor :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules & Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time. The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 45 years.
Scale of Pay : RS. 9300 to 34800 with grade pay RS. 5400/- per month.

5. Sr. Resident :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules & Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time. The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 45 years.
Scale of Pay : RS. 22000/- Fixed.

6. Jr. Resident :
Essential Qualification & Experience : Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules & Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time. The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 45 years.
Scale of Pay : RS. 20000/- Fixed.
