Northern Coalfields Limited, NCL, A well known Public Sector Undertaking of Government of India in Coal Sector, invites applications from the citizens of India for the following posts :

i. Deputy Surveyor (Mining) :
No of Post : 24 posts (General-10, SC-02, ST-10, OBC-02),
Scale of Pay : (Monthly Rated ) T&S Grade – C Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation with Surveyor Certificate of Competency Granted by DGMS valid for working in Coal Mines only. Preference shall be given to Diploma holder with above qualification of competency.

ii. Junior Overman :
No of Post : 55 posts (General-15, SC-13, ST-24, OBC-03),
Scale of Pay : (Monthly Rated ) T&S Grade – C Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Mining Engineering of 3 years duration from recognised institute. Valid Gas Testing Certificate , Valid First Aid Certificate and Overman Certificate of competency granted by DGMS.

iii. Mining Sirdar :
No of Post : 26 posts (General-05, SC-03, OBC-18),
Scale of Pay : (Monthly Rated ) T&S Grade – C Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have passed Matriculation or equivalent exam. from recognised Board. Valid Certificate of Mining Sirdarship. First aid & Gas Testing Certificate issued by DGMS under CoalMine Regulation.

iv. Assistant Foreman Trainee (Mechanical) :
No of Post : 22 posts (General-01, SC-03, OBC-18),
Scale of Pay : (Monthly Rated ) T&S Grade – C Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three years Diploma in Mechanical Branch.

v. Assistant Foreman Trainee (Electrical) :
No of Post : 14 posts (ST-14),
Scale of Pay : (Monthly Rated ) T&S Grade – C Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three years Diploma in Electrical Branch.

vi. Staff Nurse :
No of Post : 09 posts (General-06, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01),
Scale of Pay : (Monthly Rated ) T&S Grade – C Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10+2 plus ‘A’ Grade Nursing Diploma or Certificate from a recognised Institute approved by the Govt. The candidate selected with -’A’ Grade recognised Nursing Diploma or certificate with 3 years course will be inducted as Staff Nurse (Trainee) Grade – C. During the training period of one year.

vii. Technicain Trainee :
No of Post : 362 posts (General-135, SC-50, ST-77, OBC-50) posts in various trades.
Scale of Pay : Cat-II (Daily Rated) Rs. 328.78. of NCWA-VIII.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculate with ITI in Electrician Trade. Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act-1961.

Age Limit for all posts : Minimum Age is 18 years Upper Age limit for all posts, 30 years for General, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST as on 31.05.2010.
