Appointment for Director in Central Food Laboratory at New Delhi

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FSSAI, an autonomous body under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare proposes to fill up one post each of Director in Central Food Laboratory, Kolkata and Central Food Laboratory, Mumbai, through Deputation (including Short-Term Contract) or Direct Recruitment. Officers belonging to Central Government, State Government or Union Territory Administrations or Universities or recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous organisations, who meet the eligibility conditions shall be considered either for appointment on deputation or on direct recruitment basis :

1. Director, Central Food Laboratory, Kolkata
2. Director, Central Food Laboratory, Mumbai.
No of Post : 02 posts, (one post each)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Officers under Central Government, State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or Universities or recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous organisations: (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) holding post with 5 years’ regular service or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : PB-4: Rs. 37400 to 67000/- with grade pay of Rs. 8700/- (Rs. 14300-400-18300/- Pre-revised scale),
Age Limit : Age not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
