Himachal Pradesh State Pollution control Board, HPSPCB, Applications are invited for filling up of following posts purely on Contractual basis from the eligible candidates. The renewal of contract would depend on annual performance appraisal.

i. Assistant Environmental Engineer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.

ii. Project Consultant :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph. D. in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with 3 years research / work experience in a reputed institution. Or Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Tech. / Discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with 6 years research / work experience in a reputed institution.

iii. Scientific Officer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc 1st Class in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.

iv. Assistant Law Officer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12090/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Work Experience: At least five years experience as an Advocate.

v. Junior Scientific Officer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12090/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc Degree in 1st Class in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular student.

vi. Junior Environmental Engineer :
No of Post : 07 posts,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10790/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.

vii. Junior Scientific Assistant :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10790/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st Class M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry / Micro- Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular student

viii. Junior Accountant :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8370/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university/ institution and should have knowledge of Computer operations with at least one year Computer Training Certificate from a recognized / reputed institution.

A. Asstt. Environmental Engineer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14000/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.

B. Jr. Scientific Assistant :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Age Limit : Betwen 18 to 45 years as on 24.07.2010.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st Class M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry/ Micro- Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular student.
