Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, ITBP was conceived on 24 Oct, 1962. Presently ITBP is deployed on Border Guarding Duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Diphu La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 KM of India-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18500’ in the Western, Middle & Eastern Sector of the India-China Border. ITBP is basically a mountain trained Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained Mountaineers and Skiers. Being the first responder for natural Disaster in the Himalayas, ITBP has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations. Applications are invited for filling up the Assistant Sub-Inspector Stenographer Posts :

Assistant Sub-Inspector Stenographer :
No of Post : 33 posts (UR-10, OBC-10, SC-8,ST-5)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) from a recognized Board or equivalent. (ii) Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typing. OR Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and 30 words per minute in Hindi typing.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 22.07.2010.
