Assistant-Commandant Exam-2010 in Union Public Service Commission

Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, Central Police Forces, CPF, (Assistant Commandants) Examination will hold a written Examination on 24th October 2010. Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Police Forces (CPF) viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB. Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, Assistant Commandants Examination will hold a written Examination on 24th October 2010. Assistant Commandants Group ‘A’ in the Central Police Forces (CPF) viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.

Assistant Commandants (Group A) :
No of Post : 753 posts (BSF-284, CRPF-326, CISF-82, ITBP-6, SSB-55),
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s degree of any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit : Neighther less than 20 years and nor more than 25 years as on 1st August, 2010. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

Physical fitness : Candidates must be physically mentally fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Selection Mode : written examination to be conducted by the UPSC followed by Physcial Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Miistry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be condusted by UPSC.

All applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 28th June, 2010. For flung areas is 05th July 2010.

Fees : Candidates applying Offline (through Common Application Form) are required to pay a fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. All female candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes are not required to pay any fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC Candidates and they are required to pay the prescribed fee, in full.

Last Date of Application Submission : 28th June, 2010. For flung areas is 05th July 2010.
