Central Silk Board, CSB, Applications are invited for filling the following posts in the Central Silk Board.

i. Sr. Library and Information Assistant :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 30 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Science / Commerce / Arts with Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University in Library Science. Computer Knowledge will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with experience.

ii. Assistant :
No of Post : 05 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 30 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : IInd Class Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Commerce/Arts / Bachelor of Law from a recognized University. Must have minimum of 5 years Office experience.

iii. Assistant (Technical) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 30 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : IInd Class Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in Entomology/ Zoology / Botany / Agriculture / Sericulture / Chemistry or an equivalent
qualification from a recognized University.

iv. Artist :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 30 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with Diploma in Commercial Arts from a recognized Institute.

v. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 25 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce / Arts from a recognized University with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting examination conducted by State
Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting.

vi. Field Assistant :
No of Post : 72 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 25 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation(with Science) or Diploma in Sericulture
or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.

vii. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) :
No of Post : 20 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 25 Years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting examination conducted by State Technical Education Board with a speed of
30 words per minute in English Typewriting.

viii. Assistant Technician :
No of Post : 14 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 1800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma/I. T. I. Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Institute in any one of the following fields:- Sericulture/Agriculture/Horticulture.

ix. Scientist – B :
No of Post : 02 posts for PH candidates only,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 30100 grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Below 40 Years (Relaxable by 5 years for PWD Candidates).
Essential Qualification & Experience : High II Class Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in Zoology/Botany/Entomology/Agriculture/Agronomy/Chemistry/Sericulture from a recognized University with 05 years Research experience as evidenced by Research Publications in reputed journals.
