Delhi Police, Head Constable Recruitment, Applications are invited to fill vacant posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male and Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Woman in Delhi Police -2009. Wireless Operator / Tele-Printer in Delhi Police :

1. Head Constable Male (Assistant Wireless Operator / Tele-Printer) :
No of Post : 603 posts (Open-362, UR-181, OBC-103, DC-44, ST-34), Departmental-241 (UR-120, OBC-69, SC-29, ST-23),
Pay of Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC and Sportsperson as per rules),
Essential Qualification :
(i) Must Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board with Science & Mathematics OR NTC in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
(ii) Speed in English typing 30 WPM alongwith working knowledge of computers., Height – 170 cms (157 cms for Female), Chest – 81-85 cms (male only).

2. Head Constable Female (Assistant Wireless Operator / Tele-Printer) :
Pay of Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-,
Age Limit : Between 20 to 27 years as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC and Sportsperson as per rules),
Essential Qualification :
(i) Must Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board with Science & Mathematics OR NTC in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
(ii) Speed in English typing 30 WPM alongwith working knowledge of computers., Minimum 157 cms, relaxable by 5 cms for Female, Chest – N/A for Female.
