The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, Indian Forest Service Officers Examination commencing from 10th July 2010. The candidates must be elgible & Indian citizen may apply for the following posts :
Forest Service Officers :
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.A. degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botonoy, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 01.07.2010.
Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts persmissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as
(i) General Category – Four attempts,
(ii) OBC – Seven attempts
(iii) SC/ST – Has No limit.

Fees : Cash payment of Rs. 20/- only. In case of any difficulty in obtaining the Application Forms from the designated HPOs/POs the candidates should immidiately contact the Post Master. Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment.
