Constable General Duty vacancy in Indo Tibet Border Police Force at New Delhi

Indo Tibet Border Police Force, ITBP, Applications are invited for filling up the of Constables posts in ITB Police from Indian citizens.

Constable General Duty (GD) : 850 posts in various states of India.
No of Post : 850 posts,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2010.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification : Matriculation or 10th class passed from a recognized boad.

Method of Selection :
1. Candidates whose applications have been found to be in order will be sent admit cards indicating the date and venue to of recruitment center. When the candidates report at their respective centers they will be first asked to go through the height bar and thereby, candidates with lesser height will get eliminated.
2. Five kilometers race (for male) and 1.6 Kms. race (for female) to be completed within 24 minutes and 8.30 minutes respectively.
3. Testimonials (documents of education qualifications, SC/ST/OBC certificates, etc) of the candidates will be checked after the identification process.

Physical Standard Test (PST) : Will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements by a board before sending them for PET.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :
Male Candidates : a) 11 feet long jump (3 chances to be given). b) 3-1/2 feet high jump (3 chances to be given).
Female Candidates : a) 9 feet long jump (3 chances to be given). b) 3 feet high jump (3chances to be given).

Written Test : The candidates who qualify in the PET will be required to appear in a written test which will comprise of Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based multiple choice objective question papers.

OMR Application form should be filled and attested along with all relevant document, certificates sent to reach the DIG (Pers-2 & Rectt.), Director General, Indo Tibet Border Police Force, Block No. II, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before 22.09.2010 from far-flung areas is 29.09.2010.

Fees : A crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of the “Account Officer, Directorate General, ITB Police Force alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee. OMR form will be available from 23.08.2010 onwards on payment of Rs. 40/- in the Head Post Offices of district in the all states.
