Tata Memorial Hospital, TMH, is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous Grant-in-Aid Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI). The HBNI is a Deemed to be University of the Department of Atomic Energy with a mission to develop high quality postgraduate educational programs in science and technology including those related to Life and Health sciences. Full time faculty & staff positions in various departments :

i. Professor & Head, Experimental Medicine :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.D./Ph.D in the relevant field. The incumbent would be required to evolve and lead a group of investigators that will address questions in diverse areas of biomedical research relevant to cancer. It is expected that the new department will foster collaboration between clinicians and basic scientists in areas relevant to the practice of oncology.
Scale of Pay : PB 4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8900/-per month.

ii. Professor & Head, Haemato-Oncology Research Laboratory :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : D.M./M.D./Ph.D. in the relevant field. The incumbent would be required to evolve and lead a group of investigators that will address questions in all areas of Heamato-Oncology and foster collaboration between clinicians and basic scientists. In addition, the incumbent will head the expanded laboratory and will be expected to undertake basic and translational research and provide support services for Haemato-Oncology patients.
Scale of Pay : PB 4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-per month.

iii. Professor/Assistant Professor, Gynaecology :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Ch.(Gynaecology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI or M.D.(Gynaecology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with minimum 3 years experience after post graduation. Minimum one year experience in Gynaec Oncology. Candidates with 10 years post M.D. experience in Gynaec Oncology in an established set up will be considered Professor grade.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-per month.

iv. Assistant Professor, Plastic Surgery :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI. Experience in Onco-reconstruction/Microvascular Surgery is desirable.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-per month.

v. Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Radiation Oncology/ Radiotherapy) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 3 years Post M.D. experience in a MCI recognized teaching hospital or cancer centre. Adequate experience in Brachytherapy techniques, advanced 3D conformal treatment planning techniques and IMRT are desirable for this position.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-per month.

vi. Assistant Professor, Radiology :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.D. or equivalent postgraduate degree in Radiology / Radio-diagnosis recognized by MCI with 3 years post M.D. experience as Senior Resident in the relevant field.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-per month.

vii. Medical Physicist `D’ :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc.(Physics) and Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by BARC or equivalent with minimum five years experience. Expertise in advanced technologies is required. Candidates with Ph.D.and longer experience may also apply for consideration for higher grade.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-per month.

viii. Assistant Medical Physicist `C’ :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc.(Physics) and Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by BARC or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : PB 3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-per month.
