UP Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Veterinary Science University, DUVASU, Applications are invited from citizen of India on prescribed fors are invited by the university :

1. Professor :
No of Post : 04 posts in various Veterinary subjects,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400 to 22400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. A recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. 2. B.V.Sc.& A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. 3. Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. 4. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline. 5. 10 years of teaching / research / extension experience of which at least 5 years should be as associate professor or equivalent excluding the period for doing Ph.D.

2. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 07 posts various Veterinary subjects,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000 to 18300/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. 2. B.V.Sc.& A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. 3. Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. 4. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline. 5. 05 years of Teaching /Research /Extension experience of which at least 3 years should be as assistant professor.

3. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 09 posts various Veterinary subjects,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000 to 13500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. A recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. 2. B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. Specialization in Veterinary diagnostics.

Age Limit : There is no age limit for the Post of Professor and Associate Professor. However for the post of Assistant Professor upper age limit shall be 35 years as on the last date of application, relaxable by 5 years in case of OBC and SC/ST category.
