Act, is being developed as a University of Excellence to impart postgraduate level education in the fields of Management, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Humanities & Social Sciences, Engineering & Applied Sciences, Law & Buddhist Studies. Gautam Buddha University invites applications for various Faculty & Administrative positions in:

1. School of Engineering – At all levels in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
2. School of Architecture & Built Environment – Civil Engineering; Architecture & Regional Planning at all levels
3. Central Computer Center - Computer Programmer
4. Buddhist Studies Research Center - At all levels

Pay Scales:
1. Professor – Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of Rs. 10500/- Per month.
2. Associate Professor – Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of Rs. 9500/- Per month.
3. Assistant Professor – Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000/- Per month.
4. Research Associate – Scale of Pay : Rs. 33000 (consolidated)
5. Computer programmer - Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with GP of Rs. 5400/- Per month.

Qualifications:
Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case. Research Associate: Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST Candidates.
Computer Programmer: B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering)/MCA with I class or equivalent.

Experience:
Professor - Minimum 10 years in Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is essential.
Associate Professor - Minimum 8 years Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent and should also have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Assistant Professor - Minimum 03 year Teaching/Research/Industry experience Good research publications are essential. Research Associate – Minimum 01 year Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level. Good Research publications are desirable.
Computer programmer – Minimum 01 year experience of Computer Programming at appropriate level.
