Combined Medical Services Examination held by UPSC in Jan, 2011

The Union Public Service commission, UPSC, To the “Controller of Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi – 110069″

The Union Public Service commission, UPSC, Government will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2011 on 16th January, 2011. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.

Conditions of Elgibility Combined Medical Services Examination :
(I) Nationality A candidate must be either :
(a) A Citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of final MBBS Examination.
Age Limit : Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years on 01.01.2011. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.

Applicatons in the prescribed format compeleted all respect must reach the “Controller of Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi – 110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only on or before 11.10.2010. For candidates of far-flung areas and abroad the last date is 18.10.2010.

Fees : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees. Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-

Last Date of Application Submission : 11.10.2010. For candidates of far-flung areas and abroad the last date is 18.10.2010.
