Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, invites application on prescribed format by 28.05.2010 and 04.06.2010 for the candidates from far flung areas, for various posts :

I. Assistant Naval Store Officers Grade-I (Electrical Engineering) :
No of Post : 08 posts in Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence Navy.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate must hold a degree from a recognized University in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. To assist the Naval Store Officer in execution of offshore logistics including inventory control and material management related functions in the Indian Navy.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 28.05.2010.

II. Assistant Naval Store Officers Grade-I (Mechanical Engineering) :
No of Post : 08 posts in Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence Navy.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate must hold a degree from a recognized University in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. To assist the Naval Store Officer in execution of offshore logistics including inventory control and material management related functions in the Indian Navy.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 28.05.2010.

III. Assistant Naval Store Officers Grade-I (Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering) :
No of Post : 10 posts in Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence Navy.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate must hold a degree from a recognized University in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent. To assist the Naval Store Officer in execution of offshore logistics including inventory control and material management related functions in the Indian Navy.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 28.05.2010.

IV. Managers Grade-I/ Section Officers :
No of Post : 07 posts in Canteen Stores Department, Ministry of Defence.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Diploma / Degree in Business Management / Material Management from a recognized Institution. Experience : Three years’ experience of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in a Government office or a Public Body or a Commercial Organization of repute.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 28.05.2010.

V. Junior Central Government Advocate :
No of Post : 01 post in Ministry of Law & Justice.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Should be an Advocate as defined in the Advocates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 33 years as on 28.05.2010.

VI. Deputy Director (Designs) :
No of Post : 01 post in Weavers Service Centre, Office of Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree or equivalent Diploma in Fine Art or Applied Art of a recognized University or Institution or equivalent. ii) Knowledge of latest trends in the field of textile design and fashion. B. Experience : Seven years’ practical or teaching experience in creative textile designing.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 28.05.2010.
