Indian Council of Social Science Research, ICSSR, To The Deputy Director, Research Fellowships Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067 Indian Council of Social Science Research, ICSSR, The Indian Council of Social Science Research, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, invites applications for centrally administered doctoral fellowships for the year 2010-2011 in the prescribed format as given below:
1. Total Number of fellowships :
Open Category : 40 seats,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate in Social Sciences with at least 55% marks.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for a doctoral fellow is below 35 years as on 1st July 2010 (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST).
2. North East category : (North East category of fellowships are earmarked for candidates from North-East Region or who are registered in North-Eastern Universities.
North East category : 15 seats,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate in Social Sciences with at least 55% marks.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for a doctoral fellow is below 35 years as on 1st July 2010 (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST).
3. Institutional Doctoral Fellowships :
No of Seat : 76 seats,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate in Social Sciences with at least 55% marks.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for a doctoral fellow is below 35 years as on 1st July 2010 (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST).
