Indian Agricultural Research Institute, IARI, Applications are invited for the following positions under DBT funded Indo Australia collaborative project “Comparative genomics of economically important nematode pathogens leading to transgenic nematode resistance in wheat and sugarcane”: Duration is 3 Years only.
1. Junior Research fellow :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc. (First class) in Nematology / Botany / Zoology / Plant Molecular Biology / Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology. Experience in general techniques in molecular biology and tissue culture.
Scale of Pay : Rs 12,000/= + HRA (per month).
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST & women candidates).
2. Research Associate :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc in / Botany / Zoology / Plant Molecular Biology / Bioscience / Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology with three years research experience or Ph.D in the above disciplines. Experience in plant tissue culture/ plant transformation, molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics.
Scale of Pay : Rs 16,000/= + 3% HRA (per month).
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST & women candidates).
