Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, VECC, Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for Training in Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata. VECC) is a premier R&D unit of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. This Centre is dedicated to carry out forefront research and development in the fields of Accelerator Science & Technology.
A. Stipendiaty Trainees (Category-I) :
No of Post : 37 posts (Physics-18, Mechnaical-5, Electronics / Instrumentation-11, Electrical-2, Computer – 1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. (Physics as principal and Mathematics /Chemistry /Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science as subsidiary subjects). Minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay of Scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Beteeen 19 to 24 years as on 30.04.2010.
B. Stipendiaty Trainees (Category-II) :
No of Post : 83 posts (Plant Operator -7, Engineering Draughting-3, Fitter-23, Electronics-32, Electrical-10, Miller-2, Turner-1, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration-5),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in H.S.C. with Science and Mathematics.
Pay of Scale : Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- & 2000/-,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 22 years as on 30.04.2010.
