Refer to the advertisement for recruitment of various faculty positions issued vide Notification No. RC/005 dated 11.09.2009. the UGC has since informed that till the finalization of revised Regulations , the existing UGC Regulations,2000 as amended from time to time, will be appilicable for recruitment of teachers in the following levels:
1. Director : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 37400 -67000 Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
2. Professor : 33 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
3. Associate Professor : 57 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000/-
4. Assistant Professor : 72 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600 – 39100
Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/-
How to Apply : Filled-in application form in prescribed format should reach the The Deputy Registrar (Admn), Recruitment Cell, Pondicherry University, R.V. Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry – 605014 on or before 30.04.2010 [ Last date is now extended upto 30/04/2010 for fresh candidates, those who have applied earlier, need not apply again.
