Batch – Indian Navy Sailors Sports Quota Entry -1/2012 Batch
Essential qualifications - (1) For Direct Entry as Petty Officer – Candidate should be Intermediate (10+2) passed in any stream or equivalent degree.
Sports qualification/ Team Game – Candidate must have participate as a state representative in any National level game as a senior/ junior level or have participate as a University representative in the Inter university tournament.
Personal Event – Candidate has retain minimum of 6 th rank in Senior Nationals or should have minimum 3rd rank in junior Nationals or 3rd rank in Inter University game.
(2) For Senior Secondary Recruitment – (SSR) – Candidate must be intermediate passed in any stream or equivalent exam. Candidate should have proficiency in Sports and represent a state/National level.
Age - Candidate should be minimum 17 Years to maximum 22 years as on date of starting of course (Batch). Candidate’s Date of birth should be between 01 February 1990 to 31 January 1995 ( Included both of date)
Salary -Pay Band -Rs. 5200-20200/-
Selection Process – Eligible Candidates will be called to take participate for trials and written exam at Selected Naval Centres. Candidates who will qualify in trial will be checked up (medical test) at INS Hamla, Mumbai. Enrolment offer will be forwarded to only selected Candidates. Determination of Selection is strictly based on requirement in particular sports disciplines and Vacancies. Venue change for trial selection request will not be accepted.
Standards for Medical - Authorised Military Doctors will conduct Medical Examination as per Standards of Medical prescribed in latest regulations applied to sailors on entry, Height at least 157 cms., Chest and Weight should be proportionate. minimum chest expansion of 5 c.m. , Mentally fit, physical and Medical health free from any disability/ disease/ should accept like interfere with efficient duty performance. perception of colour ,-No cardiovascular disease, cp II , surgical de-formalities like knock knee, flat feet , ear infection, no any past history of fits, No other Psychiatric ailment, corrective surgery for eye sight . Vericose vein etc,
Standards for medical examination will be as per details described in guideline which has issued by IHQ ( Navy) in NO ( Spl) 01/2008, Candidates are requested to get their ears cleaned for tartar and wax removed from teeth earlier to exam.

Better Eye 6/6, worse Eye – 6/9
