1. Principal Scientist (Plant Physiology & Biochemistry) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-
• Age : Not exceeding 45 years

2. Senior Scientist : 05 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
• Age : Not exceeding 37 years
• Disciplines : Plant Genetics & Cytogenetics , Plant Microbe Interaction , Plant Biotechnology (Tissue culture), Agri Business Management , Plant Metabolism & Prospection ( Phytochemistry )

3. Scientist : 20 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
• Disciplines : Plant Development Biology, Breeding of Ornamental Plants , Plant Diversity & Taxonomy , Horticulture/Floriculture , Agronomy , Soil Science , Plant Biochemistry ( Proteomics) , Plant Taxonomy (Lower plants), Plant Ecology, Soil Ecology & Microbiology , Horticulture/Landscaping , Plant Taxonomy ( Higher Plants), Plant Pathology ( Mycology), Plant Biotechnology ( Molecular Breeding), Plant Metabolism and Prospection, Plant Analytical Chemistry , Plant Genetics , Root Biology, Plant Virology , Plant Conservation , Plant Biochemistry

4. Sr. Technical Officer : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100) + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
• Age : Not exceeding 35 years
