Staff Selection Commission, SSC, invites application for the following 49080 posts of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB at all over India :

I. Constable (General Duty – GD) – Male :
No of Post : 42537 posts in various states (BSF-13477, CISF-12120, CRPF-9508, SSB-7432),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2011.
Essential Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School from a recognized board.

II. Constable (General Duty – GD) – Female :
No of Post : 1257 posts in various states (BSF-240, CISF-880, CRPF-137),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2011.
Essential Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School from a recognized board.

III. Constable (General Duty – GD) – Male/ Female in Border Districts :
No of Post : 5286 posts in various states (BSF Male-3369, BSF Female-60, SSB-1857),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2011.
Essential Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School from a recognized board.

The application must be submitted only in the prescribed format on – line or on paper. A candidate must submit his / her application only to the concerned Regional / Sub Regional Office of the Commission under whose jurisdiction the Centre selected by him / her falls . The addresses are given in the detailed advertisement. The last date of reciept of application is 04.03.2011 and far-flung areas is 11.03.2011.

Fees : Rs. 50/- (No fee for Women / SC / ST / PH and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) or SBI Challan or online payment through account with the State Bank of India.

Last Date of Application Submission : 04.03.2011 and far-flung areas is 11.03.2011.
