Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC, Applications are invited for direct recruitment to the vacancies in the following post. The rule of reservation of appointments is applicable to this post and the distribution of the vacancies will be as per the rule in force.

Scientific Assistant Grade-II :
No of Post : 12 posts (Biology-4, Chemistry-5, Physics-3),
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years as on 01.07.2010, relaxation as per TN Govt rules.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4500/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc., (Forensic Science) Degree and a degree in the subject, for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he is appointed. or M.Sc., Degree in the subject for the group as shown in the explanation below to which he is appointed. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to a person who holds a degree in M.Sc.

Mode of Selection : Selection by a written test and interview for selected candidates.
