1. Junior Research fellow :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc. (First class) in Nematology / Botany / Zoology / Plant Molecular Biology / Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology. Desirable: Experience in general techniques in molecular biology and tissue culture.
Scale of Pay : Rs 12,000/- Plus HRA (per month),
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST & women candidates).

2. Research Associate :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc in/ Botany / Zoology / Plant Molecular Biology / Bioscience / Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology with three years research experience or Ph.D in the above disciplines. Desirable qualification: Experience in plant tissue culture/ plant
transformation, molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics.
Scale of Pay : Rs 16,000/- Plus HRA (per month),
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST & women candidates).

Division of Agricultural Economics, DAE, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, IARI, A walk-in-interview is scheduled at Division of Agricultural Economics, IARI, at 10 AM on 23.02.2010 for the post of Research Associates. The above post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute.

1. Research Associate In Environmental Impact Assessment of Resource Conservation Technology :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Statistics / Economics / Statistics with at least 60% marks.
Desirable: (i) Ph.D in relevant fields (ii)Proficiency in econometric/statistical software packages.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 17000 plus HRA for M.Sc. Rs. 18000 plus HRA for Ph.D.,
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit is 40 years with relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC candidates.
Duration : Eight (08) Months Only.

2. Research Associate Edible Oilseeds Scenario in India :

Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Statistics / Economics / Statistics with at least 60% marks.
Desirable: (i) Ph.D in relevant fields (ii)Proficiency in econometric/statistical software packages.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 17000 plus HRA for M.Sc. Rs. 18000 plus HRA for Ph.D.,
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit is 40 years with relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC candidates.
Duration : Twelve (12) Months Only.
