Indian Institute of Packaging, IIP, Applications are invited for filling up of the following posts in the Indian Institute of Packaging (an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Govt. of India), both in its Head Office at Mumbai and the Regional Centres at Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad as also some new Regional Centres being set up in the near future. Candidates selected for appointment are liable for posting anywhere in India including the Regional Offices of IIP.
I. Director :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 (PB – 4 ) + Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD in the subject of relevance to packaging with atleast 15 years of experience. ORMaster’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Science / Applied Science in subjects related to packaging with atleast 20 Years of Experience; Experience will be counted in teaching subjects related to Packaging/ working in packaging.
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years as on 31.03.2010.
II. Professor / Additional Director :
No of Post : 03 posts (UR-1, SC-1)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 (PB – 4) + Grade Pay Rs. 8900/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD. Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science in subject relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and six years experience in teaching / industry / research in related subjects; and 15 years experience in teaching/ industry/ research in related subject.
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 50 years as on 31.03.2010.
III. Associate Professor/ Joint Director :

Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 (PB –4) + Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD. Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science in subject relevant to packaging with good academic record throughout and six years experience in teaching / industry / research in related subjects; and 10 years experience in teaching/ industry/ research in related subject.

IV. Assistant Professor/ Deputy Director :
No of Post : 02 posts (SC-1, OBC-1),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 (PB – 3 ) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Science/ Applied Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in the field related to packaging. The candidate should have 8 years experience in industry/ Training / testing / consultancy etc.
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 35 years as on 31.03.2010.
V. Lecturer / Assistant Director :
No of Post : 03 posts (SC-1, OBC-2),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 (PB – 3 ) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Science/ Applied Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in the field related to packaging. The candidate should also have three year industrial experience preferably in Packaging.
Age Limit : Candidate should not exceed 30 years as on 31.03.2010.
VI. Vigilance Officer :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 (PB –3 ) plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Officers holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or ii) Officers of Section Officer or equivalent level in the Central / State Government with at least three years of regular service in the grade and possessing experience of handling vigilance matters, disciplinary cases and administrative / establishment matters.

VII. Technical Assistant :
No of Post : 12 posts (UR-7, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-3),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate in Science / Applied Sciences in the subjects related to packaging with proficiency in computer operations. Desirable : One year experience in packaging operation or in a R &D Laboratory related to packaging.

VIII. Sr. Stenographer :

Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 (PB –2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience :Graduate having proficiency in computer operation with shorthand/typing speed 80 –100 w.p.m.

IX. Office Assistant :

XI. Tel. Operator :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Sr. Secondary OR 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with proficiency in typing at the speed of 30 w.p.m. and experience of handling EPBAX.

XII. Electrician Cum Pump Attendant :
