Doon University, Applications are invited from suitable candidates in the prescribed format for the Faculty positions of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the Schools of Communication, School of Environment & Natural Resources, School of Management, School of Social Sciences and School of Languages.

1. Professor:
No of Post : 08 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC/CSIR.
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD Degree in Communication/Mass Communication/Journalism with 10 years teaching experience and /or equivalent work at University or national level institution.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 + Grand pay Rs. 10000/- per month.

2. Associate Professor:
No of Post : 17 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC/CSIR.
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD Degree in Communication/Mass Communication/Journalism from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grand pay Rs. 8000/- per month.

3. Assistant Professor:
No of Post : 17 posts,
Age Limit : As per UGC/CSIR.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at Master’s degree level or an equivalent qualifications from an Indian or foreign university / recognized institution in Communication/Mass Communication/Journalism. Candidates, besides fulfilling the above qualification, should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grand pay Rs. 6000/- per month.

Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist class Bachelor degree in Library Science or equivalent recognized qualification with fourteen years of relevant experience.
Desirable : Master degree in Library Science and should have completed one year computer course. Experience in the library of reputed scientific institutions/university in supervisory capacity. Knowledge of library software and other open source software’s for institutional’s repository management.

2. Scientist Gr IV :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist Class B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent; with three years of experience OR M.E/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent; with two years experience OR Ph.D in Chemical Engineering. The applicant should have the experience in Simulation and Modeling of petroleum Refinery Process.
Scale of Pay : RS. PB-3, Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years.

3. Assistant Engineer (Civil), Gr III :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist Class three years full time Diploma in Civil Engineering with six years relevant experience or B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with three years relevant experience.
Desirable : Experience in preparation of tender documents, estimates, civil drawing using software, AutoCAD as per CPWD norms, work supervision.
Scale of Pay : RS. PB-3, Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years.

4. Technical Assitant Gr III :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology of three years full time duration or equivalent recognized qualification.
Desirable:- B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience in the areas of job requirement.
Scale of Pay : RS. PB-3, Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 28 years.
